The cottages surround a beautiful cobbled courtyard with stunning views of the River Nent and the surrounding countryside

Poppythorn at Lovelady Shield This deceptively spacious cottage is situated above Cobblestones cottage. It boasts a large fully equipped kitchen, ideal for group get-togethers. Two double bedrooms with king beds, one on the ground floor, the other on the first floor. The master bedroom boasts a large en suite with a shower, and the main bathroom with a bath. A sofa bed can be made up in the lounge, and a single sofa bed in the games room, bringing the total accommodation capacity to up to 7 guests. The lounge has a log burner, and an open galleried landing providing an ideal reading corner. The large private garden boasts a hot tub with views of the open countryside, a fish pond with its cascading water, and an outdoor seating area, all providing an ideal backdrop for entertaining or just relaxing. Perfect for a larger group.
	Colleton at Lovelady Shield This beautiful spacious cottage is all on ground level. With four bedrooms, the master bedroom with a super king bed that can also be split into twin beds, two double bedrooms with king-size beds, and a single room with a single bed, comfortably sleeping up to 8. The main bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower, and a second bathroom with a shower. The large well-equipped kitchen and dining area is ideal for entertaining. The sun lounge offers views of the hotel gardens and the open countryside, and the lounge offers an impressive open fire. A sofa bed in the lounge. The private outdoor space boasts a hot tub and outdoor dining area, ideal for entertaining.
Clifton at Lovelady Shield One of our larger properties, Clifton is a 3-bed barn conversion, designed to comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. With its impressive high ceilings, exposed beams, and glass-panelled staircase, this cottage is a modern, spacious property. It comprises three bedrooms, the master bedroom with a super king bed and en suite shower room, two further double rooms, one with a king bed, and the other with a double bed. The main bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a ground-floor toilet. The well-equipped kitchen and open-plan dining provides an ideal space for entertaining. The lounge boasts a log-burning stove. Ideal for a larger group.
	Cobblestones at Lovelady Shield A cosy but spacious ground-floor cottage. It comprises two bedrooms, one large room with a king bed and a twin room, effectively accommodating up to 4 guests. Both bedrooms have direct access through beautiful arched doorways to the communal courtyard. A shower over the bath, open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge. Ideal for small groups or solo travellers.
Shieling at Lovelady Shield One of our small cosy properties, which sleeps up to 4. This cottage is on the ground floor, ideal for smaller groups or solo travellers. It comprises two bedrooms, one with a super king bed that can be split into 2 single beds and a king bed. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The open-plan living area with kitchen, dining, and lounge guarantees a comfortable stay.
