Lovelady Shield Hotel offers a charming escape in Cumbria, nestled near Alston, with gardens along the River Nent for a serene getaway.

Beautiful and peaceful, if you are looking for a quiet place to stay this place is perfect! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, calling a couple of local restaurants for me when I got there. Thank you Sharon and Naomi in particular. Breakfast was full of options to choose from and overall was a very relaxing experience :-)
